Though it’s unclear if he is the Big Bad, Jeremy Davies (Lost, Justified) is set to play John Deegan, a doctor at the Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane.
Per The CW, Dr. Deegan’s “machinations will draw Green Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl to Gotham City” — which, coupled with Batwoman’s involvement, points to much of the crossover action taking place in the gritty DC Comics burg.
“They’re going to struggle,” Schwartz said of Olicity. “Mostly because Felicity’s husband is in prison. So I really want to play with the reality of that. What is it like for your husband to now (be in prison.) His identity is out, her safety is in question, everyone knows who she is and her son.”
Elizabeth (aka Bitsie) Tulloch will play Lois Lane in December’s Arrowverse crossover, TVLine has learned.
As announced three weeks ago, this season’s three-night, Legends-less event — kicking off Sunday, Dec. 9, with a special airing of The Flash — will not only introduce viewers to Kate Kane aka Gotham vigilante Batwoman (played by Orange Is the New Black’s Ruby Rose), but Superman (played by Supergirl’s Tyler Hoechlin) will return to the heroic fray as well. The Man of Steel will bring Lois with him.
“This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman,” Supergirl EPs Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said when Lois’ Arrowverse debut was announced.
CENTRAL CITY was created as the home of the Silver Age Flash (BARRY ALLEN) Central City is located in Missouri across the river from its sister city Keystone . There is a bridge connecting the two cities together. It is the home of the CENTRAL CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, where BARRY ALLEN works as a forensic scientist.
In #Arrow Episode 2×08 “The Scientist”, Barry Allen name-drops Director Singh as his boss in Central City.
In the comics, David Singh is the Crime Lab Director, for the Central City Police Department. He reports directly to Captain Frye, and is not pleased with having to take Barry Allen into his Lab on the Captain’s orders.

Patton: I think it’s great — the diversity in the superhero genre — that we’ve seen over the last five years even, but it’s one thing to just hire diverse talent; it’s another thing to write for them and fully flesh those characters out. Because fans no longer want to see a [checked box], you then have to also write for them and develop them and make them fully rounded characters that they can identify with.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” said Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner, Supergirl‘s executive producers. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
